Alfred Farag was born in Egypt on Friday, June 14, 1929 (Silent Generation generation). He is 94 years old and is a Gemini. Alfred Farag (14 June 1929 in Zagazig, Egypt  – 4 December 2005 ) was one of the eminent Egyptian playwrights of the post-1952 Revolution period. He obtained his BA in English Literature from the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University in 1949. He took up a teaching career till 1955, when he abandoned it for a post in the press as a literary critic. He worked at several press institutions, for instance, “Rose El Youssef”, “El Tahrir” and “Al Gomhouriyya”. He wrote over 50 plays, including The Barber of Baghdad and Sulayman Al-Halabi.
He studied English Literature at Alexandria University and obtained his degree in 1949. Alfred Farag is a member of Richest Celebrities and Playwrights.
