On January 27, 2017, in a ceremony during the All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, Hull was part of the second group of players to be named one of the ‘100 Greatest NHL Players’ in history. He had one of his best seasons in 1991 with the St. Louis Blues, when he scored a remarkable 86 goals in 78 games and won the Hart Memorial Trophy, given to the NHL’s MVP.
