He plays on the wing. Vatuvei was a member of the New Zealand Kiwis squad that won the 2008 Rugby League World Cup. He is currently the Warriors’ highest try scorer. In 2015, he became the first player to score 10 or more tries in 10 consecutive seasons since the Australian competition (later renamed the NRL) started in 1908. He became only the third player to appear in more than 200 NRL games for the Warriors and he set the record for most tries scored for both the Warriors and the Kiwis.
