Richard Wright was born in MS on Friday, September 4, 1908 (G.I. Generation generation). He is 115 years old and is a Virgo. Richard William “Rick” Wright was an English musician, composer, singer and songwriter. He was a founder member, keyboardist and vocalist of the progressive rock band Pink Floyd, performing on the majority of the group’s albums including The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Division Bell, and playing on all of their tours. He claimed that writing was the tool he found most useful to question race relations in America.

He wrote his first story, The Voodoo of Hell’s Half-Acre, at age fifteen. In 1927, he moved to Chicago and worked for the Postal Service while also becoming involved in prominent political and literary organizations.
